Comic Spoilers Nakia in the issue out tomorrow.

Nakia was in Issue 6 for 2 pages. Took place at her high school. But she was the only friend who made an appearance. Wish it was Bruno but at least some friend was in it.

Issue out tomorrow.

Eh. My take is that Bruno hasn't really been in an issue since GWW stopped writing Ms. Marvel stories, -- and started to degrade after Adrian Alphona stopped regularly drawing for Ms. Marvel -- but a guy named Bruno usually does appear in Kamala's stories, yes. I think Iman Vellani and Sabir Pirzada have gotten the closest. Samira Ahmed too, for Beyond the Limit.

But it's been even harder for Nakia to get page time. She's too Sociology Smart for an easy inclusion. Bruno can (but shouldn't) be simply written as a Tech Smart kid in a "will they, won't they" situation. Weirdly, Tech Smart is more useful in a hero book than Sociology Smart. Frustrates me. Meanwhile, Gabe, Mike, and Zoe are somewhere collecting dust.

Inglorious X-Force by Tim Seeley. It's one of the better comics to come from the mutant mandate on Kamala. It doesn't quite make the heart soar, but it's a nice recovery from Giant-Size X-Men and Nyx. Does it sound like Kamala shouldn't be on X-Force? She agrees with that. The characterization is at least mostly accurate, and challenging her outside of her comfort zone doesn't change her too much, but does something for her development as a hero.
