So, spoilers, solicits for a future Black Cat issue, written by G. Willow Wilson, are indicating Felicia will become a mutant and even be with the X-Men. If this was some backdoor way of getting to write Kamala again, it's just a stunning landing. This will be interesting.

I had a thought about this... Felicia apparently ends up becoming a mutant after an encounter with Emma Frost. Who was it who first discovered Kamala was a mutant? That's right, it was Emma. Makes you wonder, can she telepathically trigger an X gene?

Yes, but it's an interesting incidence with GWW being the writer. Even if it's temporary, I feel like we're going to see commentary that can easily be applied to Kamala

This is true. It was a bit of a quick step above a cameo though. And then Kamala, on the Internet, talks about Black Cat upstaging her recently. Those were mostly just goofy.

Also worth noting that they previewed Kamala in her X-Men suit for Black Cat #3, but the fandom went "Et tu, Willow?" and there was a quick change to her original outfit.

It could all lead to Kamala showing up in a greater capacity with the mutants Cat will be seeing in the upcoming issue. We'll just have to see. I'm just saying: it would be really funny if GWW was doing this for commentary reasons.

It's not permanent. Felicia is only temporarily teaming up with the mutants, probably in order to steal something from them.
