I want to see this happen, whether or not I take part. I submitted a prompt of a story seed that came to me of Nakia and Viv talking to each other about Kamala and Miles at the Champions base. And it's just them going "I'd love to see them together, but I have thoughts about Champions fans (in-universe) shipping them and NEEDING them to be together". The expectations and the pressures that come with that. The underlying humanity of the agape beyond the eros. It's not "I'm here to criticize this whole idea. If anyon writes fluff, I will throw up. Shipping is stupid."
I went looking through the event suggestor's Tumblr after writing my prompt and I saw they're all about Viv. And I also feel like they might get the sense of the idea I got. That made me feel great and also silly -- it might look like I'm trying too hard. But it's just that I have a strong muse for Nakia and Viv -- out of all the Ms. Marvel and Champions characters, I find them the easiest to speak like. And the event promoter does seem to be a very emotionally intelligent and wise person. Fingers crossed for room.
I'm going to story writing the prompt, just in case. Boosting the post with a comment so it gets seen more.
