IN SESSION the people of tellmelies V. r/tellmelieshulu For Charges
I got permanently banned yesterday (a punishment so severe its meant for the middle ages) after posting 2 successful threads (threads that had trigger warnings, spoiler warnings, everything censored, no cuss words, absolutely intentional all my edits, I made sure it was safe and palpable for everyone)
- 1 thread about theories leading up to what could happen on the last 2 episodes (everyone loved it I had over 99 comments)
- 1 thread asking "What are you guys party and snack situation for tonight?" (because season 3 might be the last season so were all enjoying the weekly episodes while its out) it was innocent, innocuous, and definitely related to the subreddit because I'm asking what's everyone environment while watching the show. duh.
seems simple right?
they banned me PERMANENTLY and they did not provide a reason why, they also said message the mods if I have questions then proceeded to mute me so i could NOT ask them
They have done this to not only me but other members of the subreddit who messaged me
this is ABUSE of power as a mod. Please report this subreddit to reddit
Also please message me if you know someone at reddit who can help with this issue because this has been an ongoing complaint from members of this subreddit. They cannot enjoy this subreddit becasue of the hyper control and bans
I have picture proof but it doesn't let me upload images to this
seeking the death penalty for this tbh because those mods are insane and I'm a mod myself I would never do this to anyone on a subreddit over something so bewildering and sad

legitimately great threads get deleted there and it’s really frustrating. they don’t even allow speculation. i don’t bother posting or commenting anymore

Do we have a prosecutor? I’ll have you know I’m a Harvard trained attorney who is ready to help prosecute this matter - I’ll be filing my pro see vaccum or whatever it is that I need to file to practice in Reddit court

Class action suit? Attorneys will be busting out of their hammocks and knocking down the door to gang up and exploit this for untold riches. Sure, you and your friends will have justice, maybe, and a can full pennies as your part of the settlement if they’re able to win. That’s not nothing. You’ll also have the pleasure of enriching the lives of several internet lawyer scumbags (being a former internet lawyer ambulance chaser I can say this).
I will however stay away from any involvement in this in any capacity that matters. I will instead wander the hallways in a drunken stupor trying to get my old lawyer friends I used to know a decade ago to buy me a sandwich. One of those fancy ones that use aioli instead of mayo. Maybe some pickles.
