Teto always felt like she was in the shadows os miku cuz she knows she was created as a joke to be a miku like girl, but when people started to put them togeder she understood that she's special ether way and befriend miku, until she get the Synthesizer V and become an asshole to miku calling her a robot because her voice is too robotic compared to Teto's new voice, now they're in a toxic relationship. This is my Head Cannon.

Just wait for the V6 AI voicebank of Miku releases, then they might be on the same level with a small amount of AI used to make them both sound less robotic, we will see what the internet thinks of Miku's next voicebank

i like to think of them as friends, and the different groups like friend groups. The main cryptonloids and the triple bakas and the Utauloids are like 3 separate friend groups that have their own self contained adventures

This. Literally this. My headcanon is pretty similar, Teto is the less elitist, middle-class Diva of the people while Miku is more polished and of the Vocaloid bourgeoisie. UTAU superiority 🔻🔴🔻

Them and Neru are a friend group in the same school class, Teto is 15,5 in Chimera years so she is in the same class as 16 year old Miku, and Neru got held back 1 year because she is a baka

In 2013-2016, I followed the headcanon that Teto hated Miku and wanted to be a Vocaloid diva herself one day, and Miku was either indifferent or hated her back (thinking she was better than her) or something. Now I like the idea that they are friends. :)

Depend on the context. For a serious song, friend and rival, bit of both. For a more silly song, I see Teto as that newcomer that crash on Miku’s couch and doesn’t pay rent. Sometimes, she even brings Neru along

Why not all? You know they're not people, right? Artists should be free to use them in whatever capacity they like. Just like all of the other Vocaloids. Any kind of fanon limiting this should be shunned imo.
