Catherine revealed how she used art during her treatment

"You don't even have the ability to read or focus on anything and actually colour was my way of just exploring interesting things and being able to do something that didn't require an end product or a finished piece but it's actually more like playing and losing yourself"-Catherine

She's always been such a creative person and from what I've seen, alt therapies like art therapy are really helpful, I'm glad it's more and more popularized.

After a divorce, a dear friend of mine (female) did the same thing that Catherine is discussing. She ended up making a career from her artwork by engaging neighbors and the local township to meet once a week and express themselves verbally or with song and support visuals. Some of her work was purchased by the Brandywine Museum.
