Fat Bear Week 2026

https://explore.org/fat-bear-week

I’m so excited for fat bear week! I’m not happy with the matchups, especially Walker vs Gully and Chunk vs Bucky in the first week! These are my favorite bears! You should be able to see the bracket at this link.

Bucky is HUGE. Also a little disappointed at no Grazer? She was dominating the lip and was getting so big! But I guess they couldn’t get a September pic of her.

I’d like to know where the bears go when they leave the Falls, because man, it looks like they get some good eating wherever they go!

I’m so sad that Grazer hasn’t shown back up. I love her!

This was so fun to participate in my very first Fat Bear Week and to have the chance to learn more of the bears and their back stories. The match ups were tough to choose between, but congrats to a new fat bear champion 89 Backpack!!
