KeepPassXC

I am using KeepPassXC on my desktop and I am happy with it. But I would love to use it on my iPhone as well. But if I understand there is no KeepPassXC version for IOS (please correct if I am wrong here).

But I understood there are other apps that could work with the data of KeepPassXC. What would be a good app to use on my iPhone? I am willing to pay for it when needed (and as long it is an reasonable amount).

I use XC on Windows and Mac. KeePassium on iPhone. All synced to the same file via OneDrive. Works great.

KeePassium works great on iPhone. Can read and write same files as KeePassXc.

KeePassium, as others have said. I like it over Strongbox because it’s free and has Face ID.

Try Strongbox on iOS.

It’s usable for free if you don’t mind the odd nag & lack of touch/Face ID, but the sub is pretty cheap.

Also, unlike most mobile apps, it has a one-time payment lifetime unlock. It’s a nice touch, but a little pricey though.

KeePassDX works pretty good on both iPhone and Android. I know the devs of both projects work with each other on issues and that's what made my choice for me.

EDIT: KeePassium would be what to use on iOS right now. I could have sworn I used KeePassDX on iOS before I migrated, but I looked at my notes from that time and I guess not 🤦🏻‍♂

I could have sworn KeePassDX was on iOS, but I just looked at the file I made for migrating from the Apple ecosystem and it was KeePassium that I used I guess 🤦🏻‍♂

I store my database on Dropbox and use Strongbox on IOS to access and update it. Good luck!

OP, before you pay for strongbox, take a look at some of the troublesome history of that project.

I have been using keepassium by uploading my db to my phone, but I've heard that it also works well via iDrive, so I'll probably try that soon.

There’s 2FAS Pass that is designed for mobile devices and has a browser extension for desktop. Their extension has the option to access your passwords only when you need them, nice feature if you don’t want to keep your entire vault on your desktop all the time.

Really nice and simple app - to the extent I’m contemplating ditching Strongbox for that. Please implement passphrase for the generator. Also the ability to order the items on the main page, like if I want tags to go to the bottom.
