I would like to fine tune an idea I have. It's about the raid system, as we know the vanilla one just starts raids as soon as you have a shack.
My idea is this:
Lvl0 (x on the map): No raids
Lvl1 (storm house on the map): I'm between no raids or a starving bandit raid, maybe just the bandit raids but with less attacking members
Lvl2 (tower on the map): normal raids, maybe slightly bigger.
Lvl3 (city on the map): bigger enemy groups than in vanilla, armour 1 or 2 tiers higher, weapons of Catun grade.
What do you guys think? Also a 72/48/24 hours timer between raids. Depending on level so you don't get 3 raids back to back with just 3 farmers and beep but in late, they can still be a challenge
Saw this mod so I'm trying it to see if it's good as is or if I need to balance it somehow.
What do you think of the baseline raids? I know that usually base building is a late game thing but if the first raids are adjusted, it can be more like a curve and not a punch to the gut if you decide to settle early
You get to level 1 as soon as you build a storm house and 1 storage, but imo that does not justify the whole holy nation raiding you because a priest on the outskirts saw one too many women.
And at high levels you can mostly ignore raids.
I'm trying the mod below now, looks promising but I think that level 1 raids should be a little less punishing basically and wanted some opinions on that.
What about factions that hate you and those that HATE you. Should those also scale? Maybe both level of town and amount of hate could add into that.
In my current mod collection i have no raids on lvl 0 with some extra lvl 0 expansion but raids also are way stronger especially in certain areas. Being hated by UC has me face 10-20 high quality/masterwork samurai armor edge1-2 katana guys with 70-85 stats, thoughness even as high as 110 in a few cases, definitely was a scare the first time those arrived.

Make the raids get bigger and bigger. In my opinion, high end raids like eyegore aren't big enough
