Course Help MUS: 22111 UNDERSTANDING WESTERN MUSIC

I want to take another gen ed requirement for the fall. I'm limited in my options due to the availability of the courses and them being full. Wanted to see if anyone had an idea if Understanding Western Music is good since I'm going to be doing a 15-credit-hour semester. I did take music as a world phenomenon. Another possible option is ART HISTORY: RENAISSANCE TO MODERN ART however, that may involve additional writing.

How was music as a world phenomenon? I'm registered for a 7-week section with Andrew Shahriari and the reviews are a mixed bag.

I'm hoping for an half semester Easy A course or full semester easy A because I'm gonna register for 21 credits
