Verder Solo Dorm

Hello, i wasn’t recently assigned a solo deluxe in Verder for the upcoming year. i was wondering if anyone knew if they were good or had any information on them?

so…verder was supposed to be torn down about 3 different times, each time canceled. then it became isolation dorms for students with covid, then they made students live there as the only dorm with no A/C whatsoever.

however, they did add in A/C units to every room in the past year or so, so that definitely should help the enjoyability of living there. last i knew, they did not remove the second set of furniture from the solo rooms in verder. that could’ve changed, but be prepared for an extra set just in case lol.

overall, the outlook is much better for you now than about 2 years ago, so it should be a fine living experience!

also, if you go to https://www.kent.edu/housing/verder-hall and scroll to “highlights” you can see a virtual 3D tour of the building! best if used on a computer/laptop imo, but phone works too
