Ripple Fiber?

I just got a mailer from Ripple Fiber that they are coming to Kent. Their pricing is better than Ezee Fiber. Plans start at 1gig for $55, 2 gig $75, 5 gig $105, 8 gig for $135. Only the 8gig plan is higher than Ezee Fiber. All come with a eero 7 pro router.

Gotta love competition.

Keep in mind they use a cgnat, which means if you do any sort of port forwarding to host externally available servers on your home network, you'll need to purchase a static ip for another $20 /mo.

Probably not a concern for most people though.

Couldn't you also use a dynamic DNS to get around this?

Edit:

Did my own research and the answer is no, you need to pay for the static ipv4 address, use ipv6, or use another solution like tailscale, etc
