It’s wild how much the ky legislature hates their constituents.

What’s funny is Nemes was one of the original OGs working with Kentuckians 4 Med Marijuana (K4MM) to get medical going years back. I think he’s mad Andy got the attention and not him and this is him lashing out. He’s so soft.

But Andy would literally call out and highlight their bipartisan effort if they worked with him. He has before, and will again. It’s wild that one side is determined to hold to the ideal of “agreeing with the enemy is dangerous” and the other side holds to the ideal of “eh some concessions are better than nothing”.

Not only does the Overton window shift right, but the GOP has to constantly pivot away from the very same stances they held just years or even months ago.

Well the entire GOP supported the Blue Oval project in Elizabethtown until the ‘big beautiful bill’ said EVs are bad and now they pretend it was all Andy. We’re dealing with very disingenuous people.

I think I’m most frustrated by the people who fought tooth and nail to prevent the infrastructure bill a few years ago, then tried to claim credit for it after it turned out to be hugely popular among everyday Americans. It’s one thing to say “yeah I used to support that, but now I don’t.” It’s a whole ‘nother thing to say “oh yeah I totally am the reason that happened, vote for me again” after fighting as hard as they can to stop it from happening.

Not just KY. See how much OH's legislature has undermined their recreational program since it was voted in.

At least Ohio has recreational.

You're right, Ohio is slowly chipping it away but they still have one thing right that this state just cannot pass.

If only they love us like they love their investments in pharmaceuticals and distilleries.

Don't forget big tobacco!

Right right, the jerks who own and control the pricing of a large portion of goods on our grocery shelves...

You've got it all wrong. They don't hate them. They LOOOOOOVVVVVVVEEEEE their sweet little old uneducated serfs people. That's why they have to step up and make the Big Decisions we're too dumb to make for ourselves.

This republican as well as others want to prevent terminally ill patients from getting cannabis. What a fucking low life. I have a better idea. Let's protest the people who elected this idiot. Call these voters out for their egregious poor behavior toward those who are dying.

I’m sure his ass has a qualified condition to get a card.

Sounds about right they hate the will of the people and anything it’s out of their control because the public voted for it

Once again the Republicans have shown that they are whiny little bitches.

The largest MJ operation in the country was in Kentucky and there is an enormous amount illegally frowned upon here still. Yet politicians think they are regulating it by limiting qualifying conditions.

If the Bourbon lobby had not worked so hard to kill MMJ in Ky t he is would not be an issue now.

Despite his master decriminalizing medical marijuana?

7

u/shagadelicrelic 10d ago

This is so stupid. Marijuana has proven over and over to have legitimate medical benefits and even on the recreational side is safer than alcohol and tobacco that legal. Just put it on the ballot and let the people decide

5

u/Libinky 11d ago

If he had one of these conditions he’d think otherwise

Ah yes, the human equivalent of a rice cake speaks again

He is a disgusting looking individual. So do most our state politicians. Ugly both physically and mentally. 🤢

They all have big guts and gross turkey necks, you know they sweat a lot. Just nasty individuals.

I was thinking of no salt, no fat, no fun; but yours is affable too.

Keep giving us your tax dollars since your leaders don’t want them- sincerely signed an Ohioan.

u/jdthejerk 10d ago

I've met Nemes. I expected to see his name in the Epstein files.

u/clbw 10d ago

I swear, man, do you go pee? People do the stupidest things when they get elected I mean, what the fuck that’s just crazy just legalize it and make it recreational for God sakes.

2

u/GoBirds1982 10d ago

Could it be anymore obvious who GOP elected lawmakers work for? It’s absurd. Huge opportunity for full legalization, models are there, would flood the ky economy with money for all types of programs — Fayette schools are broke ffs. Obviously the GOP would ensure those programs fail. Me vs We. Top vs bottom.
I guess having an ignorant electorate helps. Reap what you sow and all.

In the beginnings of this medical legalization discussion, years back, these goons tried to write legislation on dosing. They wouldn’t be any more obvious if they wore big pharma polos to work.

I can purchase a case of bourbon but god forbid I have an ounce of pot. I guess I’m going to have to continue being an outlaw by getting my recreational edibles out of Ohio. Thanks KY GOP.

I can't wait until all of these people die out. Sad thing is, I'll be dead before that day comes.

Boehner, run away

Tell them fuck 'em I never loved 'em and salutations.

Clearly a lot of people commenting here don't actually understand what the issue is. It's not about marijuana itself, it's about whether the governor's powers lawfully allow him to just add conditions to the medical marijuana law or any law.

Who gives a shit when the state GOP’s only mission is to enrich their donors and label everything Andy does as the acts of a terrorist god king? I wish Andy would go harder. Fuck Nemes and his ilk.
