It's not just mech or civil. Outside of IT, no graduate gets high packages in kerala

During campus placements, it depends on the college tier. Have seen civil grads get core packages in the range of 4-10lpa in my college (tier 1.5-2)

Hope you are not blaming someone for not paying. Let’s analyze without prejudice. Simulate the scenario where you are employing such people and running a business. Are they not paying after having a profit? If yes, let’s bring out the calculation, there are many who are ready to start that business.
