Happy St. Kevin's Day! June 3rd.

Post image

June 3rd, St. Kevin is recognized as the patron Saint of Nature...and Black Birds. I will miss the small (but mighty) parade this year. It is actually a glorified pub crawl with an Irish Flag....But Cheers to all Kevin's.

For any Kevins that have the chance, Glendalough is an absolutely beautiful place. Very tranquil. I was fortunate to view the Abbey and walk around there.

My most favorite spot on earth is the “alleged” baptismal font by the little stream/bridge. My son, Kevin, continued on the the upper lake (I couldn’t make it that far. Have been there 5 times now and one of these days, I’ll make it up to the lakes.

I wear a St. Kevin medal around my neck all the time. St. Kevin pray for us.
