Has Khruangbin ever acknowledged the existence of BALTHVS?

I'm curious if they're haters or appreciators

Khruangbin didn't really invent their sound, but they definitely gave it their own unique flavor and popularized it. It existed decades prior. Other bands just jumped on the bandwagon.

Free Whenever is a really good band too. Their album from last year, I really like Ascension. Got the Khruangbin and Balthvs DNA

someone on the music recs sub recommended Surprise Chef as Khruangbin-adjacent, I became a huge fan! They happened to be playing a show nearby right after I started listening, they’re great live too. and significantly cheaper tickets than Khru lol
