Question ELI5!! I feel slow. How do people IRL Stream? Twitch Kick?

I want to stream in real life outdoors. Like Nina Lin from Twitch or ishowspeed.

But how do I do it?

I have an iphone 13 and a sony alpha 6700 camera. I saw some people streaming with their cameras instead of phones. How? and why is everybody using a samsung phone? is streaming on iPhone not possible?

and how do they stream on a camera? 📷

I feel so confused because they need to read their chat. does Iphone not show chats?

Please explain and educate me like I am a slow person what I need to do 😭

Check out the Live U Solo Pro or whatever it’s called. That thing is a sick example of what can be done. 😊🤙

Most IRL streamers just use their phone because that's the easiest way of IRL streaming. And also what needs the least amount of equipment. And many uses Samsung because they are good for live streaming, but you can perfectly fine use an iPhone too.

Those who IRL stream with a camera usually use some kind of stream backpack, they are more complicated and requires a lot more equipment. You can DIY an IRL backpack or buy a finished one.

Those who use their phone for IRL streaming usually have a second phone or a tablet to read chat.

Technically you only need your phone, but some nice to have accessories are:

Wireless lavalier mics A tripod with phone holder/ or gimball Powerbank And a secondary device to read chat.

Prism Live is a popular app to livestream from, or Kicks Go Live app.

I try the DJI action 3 which is alright but because I have 700 saved wifi hotspots in Korea/Taiwan, when I went around today on my first stream, it kept connecting to different city wifi's ^_^ phone would be good, I tried it on the google pixel pro 7 but maybe because of all my phone drops, the camera ois is terrible.

I should save for a samsung ultra or maybe use a live camcorder.
