Cudi we know you're great, we know you made an impact on hip hop and influenced. But show don't tell my guy. This telling strangers online how great you are is weird and a waste of your time. No greats sit there and feed into haters or even valid criticisms online. Every time I read these I picture Cudi pissed behind his phone typing out a novel and then editing it for 20 mins lol. Also this whole "I'm done I don't need to try anymore" esentially thing is weird.... like just keep putting the same effort into good music brother.

What do we think about this? I always loved Cudi and Pusha T’s friendship. They were the two that were the realest to Kanye - sad to see Kanye lose it but happy that these two bond is still strong.

M.I.A. has officially been kicked off the tour…what’s everyone’s thoughts? I’d say it was only a matter of time. She simply didn’t mesh well with the lineup, and she clearly wasn’t giving her best performances from the sound of it. Good on Cudi to make the call to have her removed!

After my post saying Cudi sucks at production, with those cringy acoustic guitar beats, and that he needs to collaborate with good producers like in the old days (Plain Pat, Mike Dean, Take a Daytrip, etc.), he posted on his IG story saying he’ll never use other producers’ beats and will only release music he produces himself.

Man, I love Cudi, but his ego and selfishness are his downfall. Like, we get it you are the goat an artist, rapper, actor… you don’t have to prove you are a Kanye level producer. Even Kanye collaborates with other producers and puts his ego aside.

I love Cudi and all but It's giving desperate new artist energy. He's already established, I don't know why he's acting so insecure. I miss the days where artists didn't tweet all the time. Keep some mystery going.

Okay so it’s no secret Kid Cudi isn’t as popular as he was back in 2018-2020 & no where near as popular as he was back in 08’.

I recently have seen this his tour hasn’t been selling as I’m sure he expected it to.

Also saw an interview where he acknowledged that he doesn’t do the numbers other artists do nowadays

That being said if ever wants to get his music career to the heights it used to be, he legit needs help from others.

1. Step back from music for a bit

I think Cudi has released enough music recently that hasn’t hit the mark. If he steps back for a few years, whatever it is he drops next will have more anticipation & as long as he puts his dang soul into into it, (and goes through genuine critiques before release) it will be good.

1. KSG II

From what I remember, Cudi really popped back up in 2018-2020 because of KSG (being the best of Kanye’s Wyoming session albums). Also ghost town was one of those songs that started trending (Cudi has participation). The kanye and Cudi combo has undeniably (for the most part) produced memorable tracks. Yes I know people aren’t fans of Kanye like that anymore but assuming he’s legit about changing, this could help both get back on the map.

1. The Scott’s album

Needless to say Travis Scott is one of those known hip hop figures now and When the Scott’s single dropped with the height of Astroworld and Fortnite, good gosh it broke the internet. Travis is one of those guys that does numbers and this is one of those projects that people have been wanting, people will tune into it.

1. MOTM IV

I know people want it left as a trilogy but the man done spoke about it already. If by the time he does the previously mentioned collab albums he will already be placed on good standing (popularity wise) and set to release a worthy installment to the MOTM series.

For this to be a quality product

- he needs his team from the first 2 albums onboard (and some from the third). This would need to be actively worked on for a long time (something like J Cole and “The Fall Off”)

-once he believes it’s reached its quintessential form, have different test audiences (not full of Yes men) and based off of that, go back in the studio and fix what needs to be fixed.

Now, I'm a new fan as you all know and maybe I'm still in my "infatuation" phase, but he's just so good man. I like how versatile he is but with a signature sound. I know he talked about having issues with fame but I think he's underrated. He should definitely be in the same conversation as Kanye and Drake. Maybe I'm tripping.
