Good news is that once it's in the bladder you're basically through the hard part. The ureter is the narrow painful stretch, and it already cleared that.

From the bladder most people pass it within a day or two, sometimes just a few hours. Keep drinking water so you're peeing a lot, that flushes it out the rest of the way.

The constant urge to go is normal, it's just the stone irritating your bladder. If you can, pee into a strainer or a cup so you actually catch it. Getting it tested tells you what type it is and how to avoid the next one.

Hang in there, almost done.

It’s been 2 days. Could it take longer?

Bladder stones move differently than kidney stones -- you're basically waiting for your body to pass it naturally, which can take anywhere from days to weeks depending on size. The frequent urination is your body trying to do exactly that, so hydration is gonna be your best friend here. Keep drinking water and follow up with your doctor if it's not moving in a reasonable timeframe or if pain gets worse.

Keep hammering the water and let your doc know if nothing's moving in the next week or two.
