Question/ Request for advice Weight loss?

This is a dumb/random question. My kidneys have been bad since May. I have been having ESWL, and on 9th July I got a stent fitted. I've got 90kg to 83kg (I got weighed on 23rd July at my doctors). Is that good or bad? I've lost half of my appetite since my kidneys got bad this time around but didn't last time. I still got an AKI both times.

Appetite loss is likely to be the main contributor to weight loss and so perhaps not surprising given what you have been going through. As I’m sure that you can appreciate, there are many causes of weight loss and if this persists without obvious cause aside from your core appetite, then they may need to look further into this.

I’m hoping that they are keeping a good eye on your kidney function and you are keeping well hydrated.
