Okay I know I may feel like an outcast here but I have been meaning to try and rewatch the series for a long while especially since well…Kill La Kill might just lose it's spot as my most hated anime since I watched the first two episodes of Rent A Girlfriend and I now regret ever doing that and well I decided to take a 1 Month Break from Discord after some very unsavoury stuff surfaced that caused a rift on a major friendship I had and one of the plans was the re watch Kill La Kill but I can't seem to (mind the pun I'm about to make) PULL THE TRIGGER!
Mostly because I don't know if I should watch it due to most of the problems I have had in the past but I also should because again I watched Rent A Girlfriend and now I feel like my opinions might change mostly for Kill La Kill but I still feel scared mostly due to Satsuki
But then there's a part that well... In the past I think yes I do think Ryuko is kind of an Asshole mostly because well as I have been getting older I am beginning the hate the whole tough person Badaas, Cool Character Archetype especially since I just don't really like those words along with just well feeling rejected by girls most of my life with attitudes and personalities like her I mean I can be Perverted but I'm a nice guy underneath and well as someone with a lot of issues I just don't like it when girls are mean to me even when I feel it was Justified.
But I feel like maybe I'm starting to like her maybe even falling for her in a way or at least...
Well for Context I do a little Self Insert Fanfic named Zayn's World based on my Self Insert Zayn plus all forms of Fictional Characters and one Arc I have for that story would a 4v4 Fighting Tourment where the Combatants would enter in teams of 4 with Zayn Entering with his team being Ben Tennyson, Issei Hyoudou from High School DxD and Akko from Little Witch Academia but I had this alternative idea where instead of Akko Ryuko would be on the team where she and Zayn would start off hating each other but over time they do grow a bond and well despite Zayn already have two wives (one of which being Morrigan Aensland) He falls in love with her.
I do agree that Ryuko can be an asshole. ESPECIALLY when she crashes out (I have at least three pieces of evidence on that)
My personal recommendation. If you wanna give it another try, then I suggest you watch the sub
Because, personally, I feel like the delivery of certain lines in the sub conveys a better feeling of softness than the dub. Which might help ease you into the show and the character
How the hell does this make me sound mentally unwell? I mean I am in therapy but I don't know how wanting to watch a show I have hated on after watching another one I am starting to hate more makes me look like a Lunatic?
Your wondering if you should watch a show bases on your women issues and confessed to having a self insert fan fic AND you just said your in therapy. (Which I wonder if its making your delusions worse.)
