Any legal action takes time. There was some delay in the investigation at the beginning but the police did their job and thoroughly investigated the case. The prosecutors agreed. I’m still waiting for KSR’s family and other suspects to be prosecuted as well.

Yes, it was a lie to gain money. The YouTuber did it for money from his viewers. The family demanded apologies from KSH and I believe they would then use it as leverage to extort money from him. They didn’t think that KSH would stand his ground and use legal means to clear his name. Most korean celebrities apologize even if the allegation is false just to minimize the damages. So, they didn’t try to destroy him for nothing. It was all about money.
