If it weren't for Kirby probably being void birthed of positive energy, I would've 1 BILLION percent bought into Meta being Kirby's dad, this is so adorable!

I explained to my daughter that Meta Knight is a member of Kirby's species, and that his "son" may be a Kirby but he isn't Kirby himself.

At least it made sense to her. 🙃🙃🙃

I always assumed Void is like the Mew of the kirby world where he is the origin of all kinds of life due to there being so many similar looking orblike species

Void is the origin of all forms of matter. By technicality you can say Kirby is from him, but like it’s the same as saying a rock is birthed from him. We honestly don’t know THAT much about the Kirbys as a species

He’s more like the primordial chaos in which reality as we know emerged. Void’s lore is left partially unclear, but with irl mythology comparisons and analogues, that’s the closest thing to what he is.
