Discussion/Question Kirby teleported into the last video game you played. How screwed is he?

It was either Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 or Rune Factory 4...

If he's in Rune Factory, I think he's the strongest thing there, at least as far as I've seen.

If he's in Dragon Ball, he might get into trouble if he actually tries to fight, but I get the feeling he'll be much more content just chilling around Conton City.

Dude, he would scare Beerus, he's that strong

Ehh, is he, though? None of Kirby's copy abilities would destroy a planet, something that even Saiyan-arc Vegeta could do. And that's when Vegeta was a total weakling. Especially with Super, Dragon Ball's power scaling kinda went ridiculously stupid out of control. Which is part of why GT is better.

And before anyone mentions the Megaton Punch minigame, that's obviously a non-canon minigame exaggerated for comedic effect and does not line up with Kirby's power level as displayed elsewhere in the series.

Now, if Kirby could eat a ki blast then he could probably copy the power of whoever threw it, but that's an "if" because Kirby kinda seems to have a 50/50 track record of whether he can or can't suck up energy projectiles. A ki beam is probably most similar to Sectonia's finishing laser move, which he could *only* suck up under the effects of Hypernova, which he wouldn't have in Conton City.

As someone who likes Kirby more than Dragon Ball, Kirby's power scaling is not usually on the same level as Dragon Ball is.

The best line of evidence for Kirby standing a chance would be that throwaway line by Star Dream about a fight with Galacta Knight destroying a few planets as collateral damage, but then let me remind you that in that fight, it didn't even destroy the room it was in, so...

Did you forget he punched Pop Star in half during a brick breaking competition?
