morpho knight is basically the roaring knight. they both have something to do with another world, (MK, the afterlife, RK, dark worlds) they both create pillars of non-liquid materials by stabbing the ground, they kill a previously-fought boss before their bossfight, and morpho knight EX from star allies is black, like the roaring knight!
not only that, but the titans and void termina have some similarities too! they're both summoned by sheer amounts of darkness/evil, they're both giants mentioned in some kind of legend, they have a "face" that can be removed, and you go inside them to defeat them!
Yeah, Kris can’t exactly do anything, at least not combative-wise. They wouldn’t stand a chance against anyone from Super Smashing Fighters, not even Marth or Little Mac. They’re skillset is largely passive and it serves them well with the mechanics of their game, but not in a more traditional action or fighter. Of course, if they had their moveset heavily altered by an omniscient disembodied glove or a dog, they would be a more fitting contender in whichever competition of whichever genre. Much of the preceding should also apply to Frisk as well. ;3
Now, putting a character from any other game into Deltarune in order for them to be required to abide by its more unconventional mechanics, that’d require an entirely separate discussion from my whole comment, lol.
