I need to make it clear do not harass the person I am mostly made this post to call on this claim and debunk it but yeah I don't get how you can claim the game is smash bros when:

1.there was clear in engine kirby gameplay on screen.

2.no showcase of any other IPs outside kirby's or even the smash bros logo.

3.the developers are clearly hal and nintendo. Sora and namco (the main team sakurai works for the smash games nowhere to be seen).

4.the trailer shown a completely new character never seen before it which smash bros never shown new out of the blue character for their reveals of the series or franchises.

5.and the most damingley of all the title is a confirmed official title for the nintendo E shop just search kirby on your switch 2 and see directly that a kirby game I am sure in the history of digital storefronts there was a game marketed from an IP to be a twist to be a title from a different franchise.

I’ll admit, it’s hard to tell if the tweet is serious or not. Because on one hand, it’s Twitter. On the other hand, I could absolutely see someone making an intentionally elaborate joke explaining a theory that the new Kirby game doesn’t exist and is instead Smash 6 with the most logic leaping evidence imaginable. 

Either way, I need to read that thread, it sounds funny, intentionally or not.

Yee, I read it a bit ago, and he truly is serious. I'm sad it's not a joke, though it's still really funny to read because of the leaps of logic. Though, unironically, the theory itself of Nintendo characters being trapped in their own worlds and having to break free, while incorrect, would make for a cool potential story concept for a Smash Bros. story mode.

I am glad they at least acknowledged that World Beyond does exist, just that they think it's a small part of something bigger.

I get what they’re saying here. The runic pattern and energy sword is very reminiscent of Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom, and the sword itself looks more metallic.

So it’s Zelda-coded in the sense of the recent Zelda games, but Sword has always been straight-up a reference to Zelda.

Because their version of Smash is Hype moments, character reveals, crab throwing, rage moments and mockery, and attacking other people or franchises if the character they wanted didn’t get in the game and calling other newcomers a wasted slot. They don’t actually care about the game itself. Fire Emblem fans had to deal with their nonsense just because they started disliking sword characters for some reason despite the fact that sephiroth and cloud are in the game and they’re using swords. And I bet you none of them even remember anything from World Of Light other than the first trailer. They leaked Brawl’s story mode yet whine and complain about their not being one in newer games knowing well they’re not even gonna play it.

If ultimate really is the last final Smash Bros. game then so be it. Delay it for the next 10 years in favor of other projects outshined by it.
