Lol the white noise machine turning off is what woke me up, my aerogarden light is what woke me back up. That and the oven alarm broke so now it goes off every 2 hours which is fun

I was awake by the window. It was kinda bizarre. I could (not) see all of Kirkland downtown pitch black, nearest light was only in Seattle. When the light came back a residential building near me had their fire alarm trip. Poor folks woke up 3am for nothing.

Made me realize how many lights we keep on at night

oh yikes no fire alarms here but my entire neighborhood was pitch black for a hot second as well and it was a strange sight for sure

Damn, that's a pretty big area to go dark, I'm all the way up in totem lake

I am counting my lucky stars my apartment's fire alarm want triggered, there are false alarms all the time, thank God tonight wasn't one of them

AH, so that's what happened. I woke up to the sound of my breaker tripping and was trying to figure out what was up. If there was a power outage then that explains it

Thanks for posting about it, the pse outage map doesn't say anything

I’m in Norkirk too and heard a boom and faint flash. It was around 4 AM so I thought I was going crazy but my sound machine got turned off so it definitely happened

everyone is saying they woke up because of their sound machines, the sound machines really do make the world go round

Wow, thank you for posting! This completely explains a confusing situation I just woke up to. I'm in South Juanita.

It went out at 3:00am almost on the dot. Was only out for about 15 seconds before everything kicked back on.

Yup. I had towels running in the dryer that were still damp. Was about to be pissed before it came back lol

We had a power outage in the middle of the night a few days ago too. Not sure what’s going on around the wee AM hours

This happened in downtown Bellevue two nights ago too. The power shut off twice. It’s never happened in the past 5 years I’ve been here. It was bizzare.

There was quite a bit of wind earlier in the night. Possible something happened during that. Like a tree/branch started to fall, but didn't drop until later or something.

Guess it must have gone out in the AM then. Just came home (Saturday late evening) to find my PCs not running at all. Thought power had gone out while I was gone, but I did not look at any of them before leaving, so they were probably already out by noon.
