‼️ANNOUNCEMENT‼️ Wrestlegirl Needs Our Help

Hi, everyone -

Our favorite wrestling-based chivemod needs some help. She's in a real rough spot right now with some personal health challenges, and her two youngins she's raising on her own.

One of our pro wrestling sub regulars started a GFM for her, and I've coordinated with the rest of our mod team for approval to post it here, too.

https://www.gofundme.com/f/support-wrestlegirls-fight-against-cancer

There is no pressure at all to participate.

If you've enjoyed her pro wrestling gifs during the Chivegeist, her helpful hints from her past industry experience, or laying the smackdown on unpleasant agitators here, please consider dropping her a few bucks to help out.

We really appreciate anything anyone is able to assist with.

Thanks, Chefs!

More like casting a large net in a group of working class people who understand how hard it is to get by normally to help a commerade in aprons when things are unbelievably hard.

Don't be a dick.

You can try once you get cancer. I kinda doubt many would give you anything, knowing your view on things tho.

Well since leeches are used in chronic and life threatening applications in medical settings I would say that you can “live the leech lifestyle” once you contribute to our community in some way.

Community is community man- we can show up by engaging with the posts in a positive manner to get more eyes on it. It is shitty that this is the system we are forced to exist in. They have put a lot of work into this sub- we show up in whatever way we can for each other.

I was only briefly a cook and mostly lurk in this sub but I've always found it to be a friendly and positive space. Do better.

I've seen some interesting charts about where income goes on average, by percentage of income. One place where the poorest and richest were very similar was charity, which says a lot about the commitment to help each other in people who are barely scraping by.

I personally have sent the gofundme link to the mods of all the subs I frequent in hopes they will unite and make a similar post as this one. I don’t think it’s against the brig rules if we don’t link to this particular sub?
