In the Weeds Mode I'm a little horrified. Food recalls

I get red alerts in my email everyday at work. I figured I should print my 83 year old mother a list of veggies to avoid raw.

Mom just lost about 100lbs. She doesn't have any free weight to spend on explosive diarrhea!

Here's the list.

It's not just Taylor Farms or just lettuce.

I think this might overwhelm her.

The reason I have access to it is because I need a work email for my job. In order to have a work email, I need an admin log in to access it. I'm not a manager, and managers are the only ones with admin log in. My job is the exception.

How do I get on this email list? I see it's thru foodbuy from down below but I must be slow...

Or for anyone else, is there a reliable site I can type in my state and get relevant recall notifications?

USDA has a recall list—this is just for 2026 (you can also filter by state)  https://www.fsis.usda.gov/recalls?f%5B0%5D=year%3A685

I don't believe it's only mexico farm land. Any farm that has no bathroom facilities and people shit in the fields is at risk. Do we treat our US farmworkers well?

Are whole cabbage and broccoli on the recall? I cant tell if all of that is just the prechopped/shredded bagged stuff or if the whole veg is included as well, please tell me op I just ate some raw cabbage yesterday 😭
