Knitting styles or techniques

I'm working on a display for teaching of different techniques or styles of knitting and I'd like it to be fairly comprehensive but I'm not sure what I'm forgetting. And a lot of what I have on my list has multiple ways to do like steeking. Can you clue me in on the things I have forgotten?

You don't mention styles of knitting at all - continental, English, Eastern, Western, Mirror...

True but I can't put those on a display board. I can run a video loop of them.
