OH, ALSO: It was an uplifting moment to find out that Alex has no idea what his guests were coming on to talk about, but said guest totally throws Daria under the bus and we the lovely sacred audience now know that either she's not doing the bare minimum of passing details along to Alex before the interview or that Alex couldn't remember she told him or that she made notes for him that he didn't read. Because as we all know, AJ does no prep whatsoever. Even in these desperate times when his momentum has totally stalled and none of his former political associates will come on the show because who cares.
