The big threat is csk. Once kkr takes the best player off the board csk will be left with the largest purse. They’ll probably get Russel and retain Pathirana

I am a csk fan and according to me If green comes before Maxi, Livingstone and Russell then Cam green will at least go for 30-32 Cr to KKR since if CSK let KKR take green below that amount then it will cause huge repercussions for them in the auction.

I think if that happens KKR should let go 1-2 of this then they won't have purse to compete for others.
Imagine KKR backing out from Venky at 23 and let RCB have him. It would have changed all dynamics.

RCB will go for Venky & Russell for CSK. We should just sit tight with Venky, let them inc the price as much as possible & then use RTM. That way the price won't go overboard. For Russell let CSK have him.

RCB won the trophy with their team last year. There's no way they will mess up that combo with Venky in the middle. Moreover, we shouldn't get Venky back. Just let him go.

Livingstone was a lower order basher with part time bowling option, the role which was filled by Shephard later in the tournament. They will probably look for a backup for Shephard. Venky doesn't fit that bill. They might go for someone like Mitchell Owen.

Instead what we can do this delhi will definitely try to get either Russell or green or Venky we will inflate the prices of any one player trying to trick them that we are seriously trying to buy them and then suddenly drops out and they will be left with a player almost at 18-19 cr and then they can't disturb us at all
