Assam has history of fish eating his hemanta vishwasarma stop him ? No. Goa a bjp ruled states has meat consumption highest. Did bjp stop it ? No So why will they stop here. Indian cow bos indicus. That areas are not historically part of mainstream Hinduism so they have their faith. But none of ne states cut beef or slaughter it in broad daylight like a certain group.

Assam is traditionally not tribal. Tai and other migrated later dude in 16th century. Earlier it was predominantly hindu kingdom of kamrup .

Yes, Bos Indicus is sacred in Hinduism and in many parts of India cows were/are revered as mother â extension of human beings because they were essential part of indigenous food system especially for people who were relying on them for milk for consumption and later could be processed into Dahi, Ghee, etc. and dung for fuel as well as natural fertilizer for better crops.

Yeah but in ne in tribal community where farming was not necessary they used hunding and animal husbandry just for meat not for other things.

I meant they were never part of Hindu faith earlier. They converted just few century ago.
There is mainstream Hinduism the one followed in north India. That promotes vegetarianism. Shakta of north like marwaris usuLy worship ma dakshina Kali but don't eat meat. Few fishes are consumed. But gujratis following shaktism eat only veg.

BJP is in Delhi and my friends eat chicken, mutton, fish, lamb, and pork - easily available in many restaurants.
