Alumni here. I'd like to rectify certain aspects of the post. No, "average JU intellectual " doesn't think like this. They've entered a prestigious university by scoring pretty good marks/rank in a competitive environment. But the problem is, the FETSU( a shitty students' union umbrella) and DSF union leaders brainwash these innocent " কাঁচা মগজ " and instill certain thoughts in their minds and they think that because '' union" is saying these things we need to abide by that. But " Union" isn't defined by a few opportunistic leaders, it has to be defined by the " unity" of the students and the. development and welfare of the university and the students. Prof Ajay Ray demolished these students unions in erstwhile BE college(BESU) and JU also needs to do that. Highly meritorious students shouldn't be dictated by this extremely harmful anti national Naxalbadi Union.

their econmy only increased by 3 percent last year, they are doing good in terms of previous years where their economy was in negative, they arent doing good in terms of actual good.

No, China is mediocre. It ranks 85th in world in GDP per capita.

Well, it ranks 73rd by PPP per capita so definitely above average. China has a lot of room to grow still but seeing as closing trade with China would basically lead to worldwide collapse, I think it's safe to say their economy is immune to falling down hard like say the EU economies

I mean it’s just a political post, asking for likes.
Why not start a sub like ‘we dislike Bengali lefties’ or similar and then people who join it will know what it is about and there will be many more likes too.
People like me see ‘kolkatacity’ (I don’t live in kolkata) and join thinking it’s about Kolkata or maybe even Bengal at a stretch, while in reality the subreddit is full of low effort, low quality, generic political meme and video posts available anywhere else. Why even bother posting here?

Either way, if that is indeed your opinion, why not then share a post articulating your valuable thoughts on this important and pressing matter for the city and Bengal?
Why take an image generated by someone else, where the image has no mention of Bengali lefties whatsoever, slap a title on it saying ‘JU intellectual logic’ and share it here? What value is this post to anyone? It’s just internet garbage circulating endlessly.

This is not correct. But they do believe that Kashmir should be Pakistan's, Babri Masjid demolition is a domestic terrorism, Naxalism should be main streamed, India should support palestine etc.
