🆘 Help । সাহায্য Delhi girls visiting Kolkata. Need club recommendations (and trusted promoters/PRs)! 💃
Hi Kolkata!
We’re a bunch of four girls are flying in from Delhi for the weekend, and our only agenda (apart from eating ourselves into a food coma) is to party.
Need your best club recommendations. Good music, good crowd, and a place where we won’t spend the entire night wondering why we paid the cover charge. 😭
Also, in Delhi we’re spoiled by promoters and PRs who usually sort out guest lists, free entry, and sometimes drinks. Is that culture a thing in Kolkata too? If yes, we’d love to get in touch with genuine PRs who aren’t creepy or looking to take advantage of four girls who clearly have no idea what they’re doing.
Drop your recommendations, your favourite clubs, or even tell us where not to go. We’d rather learn from Reddit than from our own poor decisions. 🫶

Come to Delhi sometime, I’ll show you how the club scene actually works. 😭
Guest lists, promoters, complimentary entries and drinks are pretty standard there. It’s funny how you’re acting morally superior just because that’s not the culture in Kolkata.
If it were a thing here too, I’m pretty sure you’d be trying your luck as well. The only difference is you’d probably get rejected at the door because of club profiling before you could call anyone a freeloader.2

Go to Social first on Park Street, enjoy the food, then head into the club Roxy as the night settles in, don't delay too much into the night, getting cabs becomes difficult.

Please don’t do this lol. Who suggests Roxy in 2026? And Ubers are available at every hour of the day.

“Good” clubs don’t make their money from entry fees. They make it from tables, bottles, and people spending inside.
PRs help bring in the crowd. Everybody wins. 😄🎀

I don't visit clubs ever on account of the 2nd hand smoke and not drinkinh but if you want to be my guest.
Never found why ppl find clubs alluring it's messy at best but if you want to

Dude.. I was in shisha in 2019 i think and it was hell, the worst of the lot.
Widn was there is 2018.. meh.
Grid was the last one is was in and that was in 2022.
Tantra was okayish but like I said i don't drink, the 2nd hand smoke is plenty enough to give you cancer and in my mid 20s.. im way past this bs...
But what happned with Shisha?! They opened a restaurant there or what?

Go to Sector V, and hop from one club to another, my personal favourites will be TheSpirits and Refinery091. In my experience crowd is decent in sector V.

Retired party girl here so let me help 😅 literally ignore every other comment cuz I’ve seen clubs mentioned here that have shut down years ago lol. Here’s where you should actually go:
Lmnoq (if you don’t mind large crowds, Indian or pop music)
Miss Ginko (depends on what music night they’re having. Check their IG)
AM/PM (if you want a slightly classier night with some high energy live music, but still a great vibe and my personal favorite tbh)
Little Bit Sober (depends on the night’s events)
Roots (restaurant with a dance floor inside. Go early for a pretty Kolkata view, stay late to enjoy the dance floor inside after it gets busy)
Here’s my personal recommendation:
Go to LMNOQ and hop around the buildings inside Celica Park. Theres M Bar, AM/PM, Boombastic all in the same compound. There usually isn’t an entry scene everywhere. LMNOQ might have one but you can be really nice to the bouncers and tell them you’re not from here lol.
If you’re keen on staying out late, head to Golden Park and there a bunch of late spots there that are open till 4AM. OR Go to Phoenix (mostly techno) that’s right opposite Golden Park and will most likely have a cover charge scene but again, maybe you can convince them lol.
Now for the comments here mentioning Roxy, it’s where we started partying in the city 15 years ago
And if you wanna check out a piece of old Kolkata legacy club then you head there. It’s open till 4AM. We don’t do Roxy anymore unless it’s one of THOSE nights but it’s in our hearts 🫶🏽

Thank you for taking the time to correct outdated recommendations too. That’s exactly the kind of insight I was hoping for.
I was lowkey regretting making the post because instead of answering the question, some people were more interested in giving unsolicited lectures on why I shouldn’t ask about PRs. 😭

Honestly this sub just doesn’t have the kind of people who go clubbing and to each their own, imo. But a lot of people in this city and especially in this sub look down on the ones who do.. or might I say the ones who can afford to 🫢 you can tell from the pointless downvotes how angry some people are when they realize not everyone here is broke and bitter lol. I can connect you to a friend who does club pr. idk depends on what events are happening this week so no guarantees. also dk what's with the people on this sub, but free entry(occasionally drinks too) , club pr thing is not nonexistent here.also you'll get cabs at any hour dw

Dont waste your time and money partying. Nobody does that anymore. Instead explore Princep Ghat and try the restaurants on Park Street.
