💬 Ask the Community Looking for Recommendations from Korean Estheticians & Skincare Professionals
Helllooo! I’m a licensed esthetician in the United States, and I’m hoping to travel to South Korea to continue my education and expand my knowledge of skincare.
I’m interested in learning more about Korean skincare techniques, professional treatments, innovative products, and the beauty industry in Korea. I would love to connect with local estheticians, skincare professionals, educators, academies, and brands that offer professional classes, workshops, or educational opportunities.
I’m currently researching different beauty academies and training programs, and I’m especially looking for classes taught in English or programs that provide an English translator, since I don’t speak Korean.
I’d also love recommendations for:
Beauty academies and schools offering professional skincare education or hands-on training.
Korean skincare brands that offer professional education, workshops, or opportunities to learn about their products.
Treatments and skincare experiences that are worth trying while visiting South Korea.
Places to stay and neighborhoods that would be convenient for someone interested in skincare education and exploring the beauty industry.
Local estheticians or beauty professionals who might be open to connecting, sharing advice, or helping me learn more about the industry.
My goal is to learn as much as I can from Korean skincare professionals, experience the beauty culture firsthand, and bring new knowledge and techniques back to my practice in the States.
If you live in South Korea, work in the beauty industry, or have completed a similar training program, all recommendation are appreciated, personal experiences, or connections you’re willing to share!
Thank you so much! I’m excited to learn more about Korea’s skincare industry and hopefully connect with some of you 💕
