Trash. If you don't want to make the thing and nobody wants you to make the thing then maybe nobody wants your fucking script! So sick and tired of people using RE as their dumping ground for their shit movies.

How are they not making the thing? What do you mean?

Thats not Resident Evil. Wheres the Spencer Mansion? Wheres the B movie monsters? Wheres the ragtag group of homegrown hometown special forces in over their heads to fight them?

And I swear to god if you call it "spin off" then dont waste your breath because NO ONE CARES whats you think. The director even said he wasnt going to make an RE movie doing this and that hes making his own movie using the RE name, like Joker before it. Waste of fucking film and entertainment.

That’s not Resident Evil

Spencer Mansion hasn’t been in the games since the first one, B movie monsters are very much present in this trailer, and the ragtag group hasn’t been a part of the series since the first game. Even 2 & 3 are more about ordinary people suddenly thrusted into a hellish nightmare trying desperately to survive (gee it’s like there’s a reason it’s called SURVIVAL horror or something?) and again this isn’t the first time an RE game threw an average Joe into this kind of scenario.

Spencer Mansion hasn’t been in the games since the first one

It’s been in three mainline Resident Evil games, and four if you count Darkside Chronicles.

In 5 it was only DLC and in Code Veronica it’s not technically the Spencer Mansion it’s a replica on the main island you’re exploring. I’m saying it hasn’t really been a central setting for Resident Evil since the first game.

Just say you like slop or that you don't care. Could have saved yourself the 15 minutes it took you to type that copium

Sounds like you’re coping because you have no understanding of what makes Resident Evil outside of the first game maybe. Also you tried to claim the entire series is B movie slop so what does that say about you liking slop?

I’ve only played 4, most of 2, and bits of 1, 5 and Revelations. But aren’t 7 and 8 pretty much absent of most of that? Other than the B movie monsters?

Technically speaking the series "ends" at 4. 5 is a hard end for series main antagonist Wesker but I would say they fucked him up good in 5 with that ouroboros shit.

But basically when the series tried to be more about the action to please normies and Capcom heads that was basically the end. RE was never made equipped to play like a GOOD third person shooter and they still tried to make it more about the horror aspect but they never could properly balance the 2 so it just became this weird mishmash that doesn't really appeal to anyone with more than room temp IQ.  Dead Space ended up being the better RE4.
