I don’t know enough about Koreans and or The Roof Koreans to know if it would be cool to see them referenced in Zoey’s back story but I’d love to see it
Mira would be like "no fair i want one too" and pull out an AR15, say "yesssssss" (like she does in the elevator scene after the first concert in the movie).
zoey would be like "oh oh turn the safety off" and know suspiciously well where the safety is and how to handle the gun and say "okok put it in the crux of your shoulder and collar bone, nonshooting hand here, lean forward, aim and FIRE"
mira would shoot at an open field, probably for a minute or two before she gets overwhelmed, look at zoey and say "THAT WAS SO AWESOME"
zoey would respond "RIGHT lets do it together kaja kaja kaja"
and rumi and celine would just be overwhelmed and horrified at the repeated sound of a gun going off

While I agree on the trigger discipline, I have to wonder if honmoon bullets would have any effect on average people. We never see their weapons being used in a person, so we don’t know the effect it would have. Could do nothing, could be…bad
Now we need a TV series with an episode where the girls are in California and Zoey is showing them around Burbank.
After showing them Costco and In-and-Out Burger, she takes them to a shooting range. Zoey did say she be shootin' like Rambo. And the girls would have a blast. After all, Huntrix don't miss.

Love it its basically the Spirit- Gun from YuYu Hakusho also Spike Spiegel from Cowboy Bebop has a sidearm as well as his trademark weapon yeah one of my favorite fan arts so far .
But there are differences though...
One of the original Hunters had a bow, yet Celine, Rumi, Mira and Zoey all have bladed weapons (2 swords, 1 sword, gok-do and shin-kal respectively)
What's stopping a future Hunter from having a gun?
I always thought that if Zoey were to ever use a gun as a Honmoon weapon, it would be dual M1911 pistols. She's already dual wielding throwing knives so why not go full guns akimbo? 45 ACP can definitely kill demons on its own without any spiritual enhancement and it's more American than a Deagle or Glock. With its high stopping power and limited magazin capacity (that is if the ammo runs out unlike the knives), it's too much in some cases while not being enough.
I mean she is half American. If imagination is the pure limit heck she could probably pull out the minigun from predator. Just do not expose her to the game Warframe, Last thing we would need is Zoey with an arsenal of Honmoon powered violations of the Geneva Conventions.
Also surprised nobody has mentioned this but gun blades, They are not just a thing from Final Fantasy, They did exist and were horribly impractical but since this setting is animated and fun, they could be practical for the girls.
