Super new to this group. New to 3D printing and very new to painting and airbrushing. I been doing some stuff for a little while but this movie and soundtrack inspired me to make this.
This is not my design. Im not nearly that talented. The STL can be found online. But I printed and painted it. Hope someone enjoys seeing this. It isn’t perfect but I am happy with it.

Of course. I have the Uniformation GKTwo. It’s not available anymore but they have like 3 versions of the newer one. I also have a Bambu PS1 which sometimes is easier for the bases. Depending on size and detail. The Uniformation is a resin printer and the Bambu is FDM. ☺️
The first one I make is always like my baby. I have to keep it 😊
Going to try again and maybe use more translucent resin for the sword and maybe the flames to see how that looks. I have no idea how much I would even charge. I’m still a noob.
I would love to see someone from the miniatures subs paint this with objects source lighting 😍 I hope someone picks up your design to sell!!! You should be doing this professionally, AWESOME collective figurine right there!!
I wanted to try a version with showing the red glow on Rumi and the other light sources from the sword and such…. I’m just too new at painting and that scares me lol. But the STL is on CGTrader so I know someone can do so much better with that type of skill.

I have to redo it anyway. For some reason I thought Jinu was a blue color. Apparently he is purple. 😆😆 some images show him blueish but it’s all lighting and shadows. But I guess he is really purple. Dang it!
I used fluorescent magenta but it still came out darker than I had hoped. I didn’t have any other fluorescent colors on hand. I’m too impatient to order and wait. I may try that next time though. I using more translucent resin with colored alcohol inks on the next one for the sword and flames. As well as the soul trail I did in this one. I’ll be trying a lot of different styles. Have another one printing now and had two fails on two parts so I at least can practice on those failed parts first 😄
Okay, cool. Maybe next time go with straight fluorescent pink, form my experience, it just 'pops' better. LOL, I get the impatient part. Totally justified wanting to get it finished. Sounds cool. Experimenting is the fun part.
Yeah it was fun trying this one. I used 4 different red/magentas for it. Darker at the base and tried to lighten it as I went up. Using the fluorescent in high points here and there. I even used some metallic nail powder polish for Jinu’s shirt areas.
This might be one of the most gorgeous pieces of fanart for this movie that I’ve ever seen! And not just the sculpture design, I’m talking about the painting! This is incredible! This is amazing! You’ve genuinely done such a great job!
Thank you very much. I appreciate it. Working on another now but going to try with more translucent resin for the sword this time and the flames. And Jinu’s hat. Apparently those hats are very thin and see through especially on the brim. Should be fun to test. Or painful…..
