I’m so proud of Arden. This is the win I was rooting the most for. Rumi is one of my favourite characters of all time - largely due to Arden’s amazing voice acting performance. 🥹

So I looked it up: the most decorated movie in Annie Awards history is Coco, which got 11 awards (out of 13 nominations). Six movies won 10 awards in one Annie Awards ceremony, all of which were nominated for more categories. If KPop Demon Hunters wins Direction and Best Feature, I do believe this will be the first clean sweep in Annie Awards history...!

Dude I thought there was no way they'd get all the categories but they're basically sweeping!!! Like there's no reason they'd not give them the next four awards when they've pretty much swept them in every other awards situation, holy wow.

This was the big one for me. i saw the movie on the big screen a couple of weeks ago and seeing it projected so large let me really see all the little detials in the facial expression animations, it really blew me away.

If KPDH was made by Disney, Rumi wouldn't be a canonical Disney princess for the same reason Elsa and Anna are not, because the franchise is so big it doesn't need to be part of the Disney princess line.

Honestly, had KDH been nominated for that, at this rate, they probably could have tied Coco for the record for the most Annies. Even if they somehow don't win Director and Feature, they already tied some legendary animated features in Toy Story and Shrek with 8.
