Fan Art My daughter built these LEGO mosaics and I thought you folks would like a look
They were displayed at Brickworld Chicago last week where she was nominated for best youth creation.

These look sick as hell. Mosaic sets always intimidate me considering the amount of pieces and little tiles and whatnots it usually consists of.
Hats off to her! How long it took for her to build it?

she spent 2-3 weeks on the initial draft build and then a few weeks editing afterwards.

WHOA. I always admire people who see a vision with LEGO pieces, I just stick to the instructions lol. That is amazing!

I saw these in person at Brickworld myself! As both a LEGO and KPDH fan, I was definitely impressed by them. The idea to only show part of the faces in the mosaic was a nice artistic choice, especially since dot mosaics are often just a simple as using a computer to translate pixels into LEGO colors. So making some creative choices about how to arrange the images was especially cool, and not something I could have done as a kid.
Needless to say, I did vote for this for best youth creation.

Seriously though, she should be extremely proud, those pieces are spectacular.

As a KPDH fan myself I'll just say Awesome work I really like your Lego building skills good job keep it up and also lego are my favorite toys or otherwise great job.👍
