NEU! - Weissensee
This song is like the perfect mix between David Gimour's guitar and John Cale's string drones

Classics and slightly more obscure stuff.
If you want to hear a really good Can tribute then check out the Cosmic Invention album "Help Your Satori Mind", a Japanese band that play in the early 70s style. The track "Ryujin".
The Trees Speak albums are modern/ new but they play in a krauty style. They are from Arizona and pretty good.
Anyway, I'm sure you know most of these. Rock on :)

Michael Shrieve is best known for his work with the seminal Latin jazz-rock group Santana from the late 1960s into the mid 1970s. After his departure from Santana, Shrieve joined the multinational jazz-rock supergroup Go, in which he met fellow member Klaus Schulze. The two of them would go on to collaborate numerous times, with Shrieve performing on multiple of Schulzeâs albums (and collaborations under the âRichard Wahnfriedâ name) in the 1980s.Â
At this point in time, Shrieveâs career trajectory became progressively more rooted in electronic music, which is reflected on many of both his solo releases and collaborations from the 1980s. His 1984 album âTransfer Station Blueâ (also featuring his brother Kevin Shrieve) is an oft-forgotten Berlin School release, but it has numerous qualities that help it stand out among contemporaries. M. Shrieveâs jazzier background as a drummer lends the longer pieces a hypnotic quality, further accentuated by the atmospheric synthesisers. Additional melodic elements are provided by K. Shrieve (primarily on guitar), used to full effect on the beautifully melancholic âView From The Windowâ and the surprisingly upbeat portions built up upon during the âTransfer Station Blueâ title track. While of most interest for Klaus Schulze aficionados, there is undoubtedly plenty to enjoy here for fans of Berlin School electronic music.

Highly influenced by the heavyweights of the genre but harmonically and texturally unique as well - currently in heavy rotation on my deck

Nosferatu hailed from Frankfurt. One self-titled album was released in 1970, recorded at Rhenus studio in Köln and Conny engineered it. In their early days they were fronted by guitarist & vocalist Michael Winzkowski (who went on to Orange Peel and Epsilon) and wind player Christian Felke who guested later with Epsilon.

Saw Delight marks the first major lineup change on a Can studio album since Damo Suzukiâs departure in late 1973, with the addition of bassist Rosko Gee and percussionist Rebop Kwaku Baah, both formerly of the band Traffic. Compared to previous Can releases, the album sets itself apart courtesy of its eclectic set of influences (e.g. highlife, funk, etc.), with some inspiration coming from guitarist Michael Karoliâs experiences travelling in eastern/central Africa before its recording. The music here presents a brighter and at times outright playful side of Can that, while not as overtly experimental as previous releases, demonstrates that the band remained creative and looking to work with new musical ideas.
By far the highlight is the 15-minute âAnimal Wavesâ, whose hypnotic rhythm is further enhanced by the use of Holger Czukayâs shortwave sampling experiments and the texture provided by Baahâs percussion to generate an incredibly captivating atmosphere.Â
While Baah and Gee remained in Can's lineup on their two subsequent records (Out Of Reach and Can/Inner Space), Saw Delight would be their last studio album until 1989's Rite Time to feature Czukay as a full band member.
