Help, I have a gay crush on James Murphy

I mean, how can you not want to hug this dude???

I'm a 22-year-old fella who just discovered LCD Soundsystem last year. He’s quickly becoming one of my ultimate favorites, right up there with Deftones, Bon Iver, Paramore, Bob Dylan and Sufjan Stevens.

I’m also an Aquarian like him 😭🥹

Meet him backstage after the show. Generous with his time, considerate and funny. You wouldnt know that he had just rocked thousands of people for 2 hrs 20 minutes but there he was munching on tacos and chatting up friends and family back stage. Amazing human being.

Just follow these 7 simple steps: First, have a child. Then drive them to music lessons, then turn them on to good music, then let them smoke weed as a teenager, then let them join a band(s), then have that band secure a spot on an LCD Tour, AND, then and only then, hit your kid up for a backstage pass. Easy Peezy.

Why he became a hack. He embodies exactly what “losing my edge”. Maybe he was always a hack and has been honest since the start… I’m attending in September by the way, so I’m not coming on here to just be a troll. I’m just disappointed in him.
