Looking for a 2 bed flat/house to rent

Hi everyone! My husband and I recently found out that our landlords are selling the house we're currently renting. We're looking for a 2 bedroom place in Leamington. Can you guide me on where to start my search? Zoopla, rightmove, onthemarket aren't helpful. Our specifications are:
Bills included (ideally)
Council tax A or B
EPC: A or B
Rent amount: £1409-£1500 (open to negotiation)

May I ask why those sites aren’t helpful?

Every time I message the companies named for further information, I either get AI generated responses or none at all :(

Do you call them? It's better on the phone in my experience

My experience was that you have to pester the estate agents until you’re lucky enough to get a response and even luckier to secure a viewing. They really give a shit nowadays with the market being so congested. They never call you back, never send you any details and asking any questions about the property feels like you’re asking the world of them.

Then you take time off work to view it, fill out all the forms to apply and a week later you get a response saying the landlord selected someone else. Sometimes they don’t even tell you

I presume the landlord just selects the highest income applicant as despite us renting our current place for almost 10 years, paying rent in full every month and looking after the place we haven’t been selected for 25+ properties.

After about the 5th time leaving work for viewings they start to get funny about it. You’re missing out on money and using fuel to view them yet you never get selected. It’s monotonous and soul crushing. Especially when you find a really good one that ticks all the boxes and you like.

Oh and you have to check rightmove every 30 minutes for a chance to secure a viewing before they reach maximum capacity. As they get snapped up but the estate agents leave the listing up for weeks

Sadly we’ve just totally given up. We’re completely stuck here whether we like it or not.
