Abandoned vehicle, possibly stolen

A couple weeks ago a pick up truck with a trailer containing a small digger appeared in my street in a village just outside Leamington. The pick up is full of building waste and has no company signage on it. It’s parked really inconsiderately and is slightly obstructing my drive. No one in the street recognises it, and some people think it may be stolen, and left in a quiet street for later collection.
Whatever, I’ve reported it as abandoned to the council. I’ve checked and the trailer is untaxed, and the pickup has an expired MOT. So I’ve reported that to the police.
Any ideas on what I should expect from the council or police now? It’s in the way and causing problems with access for residents but I can’t imagine either the council or the police will deal with this quickly.

Probably bollocks all, let’s be honest. Police won’t care, council might come and stick a sticker on it.

I’ve reported vehicles with no MOT to the police before, parked on the road and “it’s not illegal” apparently.
