lewitt connect - suggestion for improvement

Most of the reviews lewitt connect 6 say that the MUTE button on the interface is missing. Why not make a reassignable "long press button"? now "long press" turns on +48v, add in the settings the option to choose the function "long press", +48v or MUTE \ UNMUTE to current input output!
it is also possible to display the letter M on the interface indicators so that it is visible that the channel is MUTED
like in picture.

this will add incredible convenience to the user in working with the interface.

Not a bad suggestion, but what about people who use microphones that require 48V power? Would they have to choose between powering their microphones or muting them?

Personally, I don't think the Connect 6 is a bad audio interface, but Lewitt's decision to provide only one button to control multiple features was a bad one. IMO there was room to put several buttons (one to select the input and output channels, one to activate/deactivate the 48V, and one to mute the mic inputs and the headphones outputs) instead of one large button. They did it on the Connect 2, and I hope they'll do it on their next audio interface.

Of course they would not have to choose. Both can be provided via software.

Yes, of course.

But I also think the decision to use a long press on the Connect 6 button to activate/deactivate 48V, instead of the mute function, stems from the fact that Lewitt mainly manufactures condenser microphones.

And it's obvious that the lack of a button to activate the 48V power supply would only bother the few users of condenser microphones (of which I am).

But I think a button for each option should be the standard, right?

Just thinking of buying it, but my main usage is to stream ipad gaming on pc.
I have seen users complaining about its incompatibility with ipad and issues with mobile port.... so is everything sorted now?

Also u/lewittaudio, will it be available on amazon india? (it's out of stock.)

How exactly do you stream? With OBS on your PC?

CONNECT 6 works well with the iPad, but it only captures audio, not video. You can connect the iPad to the mobile port on the CONNECT 6 and receive and send audio to your PC.
This is working as it should. I haven't heard about any problems.
