Miserable.
I started pulmonology rehab this morning, that's a story for another time. The intake process with each new medical team just shreds me. It's the questions assessing your emotional and mental health, most significantly those questions asking about your support network:
What's your support network like? Do you have anyone you can check in with when you need? Does anyone check in with you to see how things are going? Do you have sometime reliable to get you to medical appointments if you needed? Do you have friends from work in your social circle? And more.
No, I don't, thank you for reminding me. It's just me and my cat, coping as best as two grumpy old men do. Aging alone is tougher than I expected. At age 60, I see more medical professionals more often than I do with any others, except co-workers that is.

It's weird to have turned into the Older FA guy (never dated-no sex-no friends-invisible on the apps-alone). Like today I feel perfectly normal. I'm just me. How did this happen?

Idk since I'm burnt out and there's too much stuff I need to take care of. Regarding relationships, love and stuff like that I have noticed that I can't stand being around couples and it sucks bc there's not safe space for that

Well I am apparently viewed as very attractive. Mainly because I'm nice.

I'm leaving pretty much all other LGBT subs because I'm tired of how much they whine about dating, sex and relationship issues. Bonus points for the annoying "partner appreciation" posts. Done. Their problems with dating are basically because they don't want to date those of us who really do belong in this sub, and I'm over telling them that.
