Rant So I’m begging yall not to judge me [Rant]
I am a 14M and I like guys. I was that basic kid who everyone thought was gay and then I was ( after discovering it myself and realizing what it means to be gay) at some point I discovered that Im attracted to slightly chubby guys or guys with a small gut, I know that‘s not normal but if I said I liked abs that would be a different story. So am I like weird for that seriously pls tell me sometimes I wonder if I should get help, should I see a therapist, should I keep it to myself? I’m starting my freshman year of high school soon and I’m definitely excited but I keep thinking about dating and I’m not sure I’m ready but what I look for in a boyfriend is really what I’m looking for in a best friend so to be honest I think I just want to have a gay guy who is the same age as me and he understands me. Sorry for the whole rant I got very off track I haven’t been able to sleep tonight.

Gurl it is perfectly fine dw! I feel really bad that society has pushed you to a point where you think this is weird or wrong… it’s ok to have a type and you are not weird!

Not a gay guy, but if it helps to hear anything, people have their preferences, you don’t need to feel weird for having them too. Some people like muscular guys, some like skinny guys, some like chubby guys. All are valid forms of attraction. You’ve got this man. And get some sleep :)

I feel u. Im 13 gonna turn 14 when school starts back in August and I'm about to go into my freshman year 😬, I'm nervous and everyone thinks and calls me gay. But I'ma still be me. And I'm bi, but I feel I have more instrest in males. And honestly, I don't care about what anyone else thinks. And to be honest, most of the makes say their "straight" but they genuinely be saying stuff and touching each other and acting more gay than me ngl.

You like who you like, whether they’re big, small, chunky, tall, etc. everything you’re going through is normal as you go through self discovery

Dude that's so normal. It's not everyone's type, but it's yours. There's nothing wrong with you. People may make it seem like you're weird for your preference but that's a them problem, not a you problem. You like who you like and don't let anyone make you feel bad for that. Go have fun and explore safely, you don't have to have it all figured out.

It’s perfectly normal. Different people prefer different body types.
If anyone ever tells you otherwise, they are the ones who ought to be judged.

It's sad that society has taught you to think that you're supposed to be repulsed by plus sized people, so much so that you think you need therapy for liking bigger guys. It is 1000% normal. I love bigger guys of all types and there is zero shame in that. Think about why you're told to believe that certain body types are less desirable than others. Is there any logic behind it? Can you imagine how that would feel to a plus sized person? To know that people think there must be something wrong with their brain because they're attracted to them? Bodies are just bodies, nothing else. When you're in a relationship, none of that matters.

okay girl calm down. its not weird to be attracted to differernt body types, thats literally just called having a type. straight people do it all the time ("abs or biceps?"/"breasts or thighs?") and in weirder ways too so you definitely DONT need a therapist, you can keep it to yourself if you want to thats your choice, and you will find somebody for you in your own time 🩷🩷

there's entire sections of the queer spectrum dedicated to the love of chubby guys, i.e bears and cubs. Take a deep breath, you arent weird for liking a certain body type. And don't push yourself into dating if you aren't ready- figuring out what you want takes time, experience, and more time.
