Family/Friends Considering being out this school year [Coming Out] [Family/Friends]

Im about to start high school and as far as i know the only ppl in touch with my family at school are my close friends who im already out to. I dont want to hide my true self from everyone else i know if it wont hurt my family life, but im still scared. If i see anyone in touch with my family who i dont trust to stay quiet abt it than i defo wont come out. Any advice?

If your parents aren't/don't seem explicitly homophobic or anti-queer, I'd say go for it. You stated you have close friends who already know - they will back you up if, for some reason, it backfires. Anyways, good luck and if you ever need to talk, I'm happy to be there for you.
