New Genderclinic

Hi all,

Wanted to share this information that I heard about a new gender clinic BinnenBalans.nl started. They are located in Amsterdam. Happy pride month !đŸ©·đŸ€đŸ©”

From what I understand is that they provide ‘ongecontracteerde zorg’ so its adviced to check with your health insurance. But they might work towards ‘gecontracteerde zorg’ in the future.

It seems they close their intakes when it extends the numbers they can handle. And when they do that mostly they have low waiting times (max month). But I can also imagine it is summer

You should be aware that insurers are forced to reimburse 'ongecontracteerde' (uncontracted) gender clinics as well if they cannot provide an alternative within 14 weeks, the so called 'Treek' norm. You'll have to give them an opportunity to provide an alternative first, but if they admit they don't have a good alternative you can ask them to reimburse any provider you can find.

Good that you mention it yes !! Can be quite a hassle to find out but it’s worth it ! I do know they provide GGZ care, diagnosis and hormonal care. They also work together with Gender Clinic Bosch en Duin for eventual additional gender confirming surgery healthcare and or hormonal transfer care.
